I have a samsung 740 and created a ringtone. I then e-mailed it to my vision e-mail. However when i open it on the phone, I see the attachment but can't find a way to download it. Does anyone know how?

Yes, it's $0.02/KB, and it $0.10/txt msg. But if you think about it this way, you'd pay Sprint between what? 3.99 and 5.99 for most anything anymore, right? Consider that most ringtones in .qcp are maybe 50KB, so that would cost you $1.10, and most pictures are probably 15KB at biggest for the divices we put them on, so that's $0.40, so that' would be $1.50 for a picture AND a ringtone, and it you'd still save between $2.50 and $4.50 from what one ringtone would've cost.

Of course, if you get a data cable, which you can find for 20-30 bucks, you don't have to worry about any of this. Do yourself a favor though, make yourself feel Welcome to BitPim. And see what they have to say about your phone and the best cable for their services.

It's actually 2¢/kb, but one picture or ringtone could cost in excess of $15.

You can still send and receive pictures and data on your phone without Vision service, but you will be charged 2 cents per kilobyte sent or received. That might be okay for the occasional picture mail, but if you plan on using it more than once or twice a month you are probably going to be better off with a Vision plan to cover unlimited access.

EDIT: Thanks for the correction Tammy, I didn't double-check before I posted. 10 cents is for texting without a plan, 2 cents per kilobyte is the correct rate for using Vision services without a Vision plan.

Is there any way to Upload or Send things without having Vision?
