Its still not working. i reinstalled mpt. none of the programs work...datapilot, mpt or motokit. maybe it has something to do with the computer.
everytime i open up one of these programs, it just says initializing....
and then pops up a communication error. i checked the drivers or modems and they are working fine. everything is connected. i dont know whats goin on. maybe its the cable?? its charging my phone, so it cant be that, right? i keep my datacable plugged in 24/7...i hope that doesnt mess it up

sounds like your PC settings are not set up correctly though..

try uninstalling MPT and installing again, remember to re-boot your PC after wards.

Hi there, I noticed your thread and wanted to tell you there is a way to get reception where you live, although it might cost a few hundred dollars. Do you get reception outside, like standing in the yard pointing your phone at the sky? If yes, then there is hope for you yet!

I spent about $275 including shipping on just about the most inexpensive cellular repeater I could find, and it works pretty good. There are some really nice, high quality repeater/amplifier units available on the market, like the ones at Wilson Cellular, but mine came from the first link above.

Holy cow, I should find out if these people sell stock and buy into it, I feel like their #1 salesman because just yesterday I printed out their flyers and gave to a neighbor because I felt sorry seeing them stand in the street to use their phones all the time when I get 6 bars in my living room. We have way too many huge oak trees around here, they kill everyone's indoor reception.

I didnt know i could do that! thats perfect. Im gonna have to look in the manual on forwarding. Learn new things everyday...

just go to your menu and scroll down to "forward" press "select" "voice calls" press select > scroll down to number and change to the number you want to forward your calls to.

Data pilot isnt working either. I checked the modem/driver and its still connected. Just want to know whats going on. All help is appreciated... again! Dont know what id do without you guys
