Well I hate to tell you this but the V300 is not the strongest performer for signal because I have T-mobile and switch sim cards with a Nokia 3220 which will get FULL bars and when i go back to the V300 it will have half or a little over half but never full. In general the motos are not the best phones for signal I have found the samsungs and nokias much much better.

I wish that were the case. We live in the northern part of Dallas and coverage for Cingular in this area has always been strong. Her former phone always had full service in this area too.

like Tony said ... you might want to check Cingular and the converage in your area before you blame it on the phone.

    Tony E!
Are you sure is not Cingular's coverage in your area and not the phone itself?

    Hi,

I'm having some trouble with an unlocked V300. I recently bought one for my girlfriend as a gift off of Ebay. It works fine, but it doesn't seem to get a very strong signal. She's using Cingular as her service. Is there any way to boost the signal? Thanks for your help!

    Zac
