the easiest way to do it is to access the phones memory via either a phone's USB cord or the memory card, and simply drop the photo in the memory, without the use of any internet.

If you must use internet, and you have a data plan, then you can download the picture from a website on the internet using the Opera Mini browser (a free download). But that may be a few too many steps for you.. it's easier to use USB cable or memory card as stated above.
