If you're looking into buying a prepaid phone to activate on an existing plan, then no. You could do this about a year and a half ago, but Verizon started registering certain ESNs to be specific to prepaid. A contract phone can be activated on prepay service, but not the other way around. If you're looking for a cheap phone to activate to an existing plan, EBay is probably your best option.

Do pre paid phones work with monthly plans? The reason I ask is becuase the pre paid phones are cheaper. (By the way I use Verizon.)
