I have a new F9100 which is driving me crazy. (I know...it's not the greatest phone...but I'm getting great coverage and it does have good text message capabilities which is all I really need.)

I use this for work and get messages all day and night. On every other phone I've ever owned (30+) there was a way to turn off the notification for new text messages! On this phone I have a choice of 5 different alerts...but no choice to turn it off. I need to have the phone available in the event someone calls me in the middle of the night...but I'm getting sick and tired of being woken up by some stupid email jingle all night long!

Any assistance would be very much appreciated!
