    Nope, you will have to have the V-Key. Some CS reps can get around it if you have the previous owner's name, DOB and address. But other than that, you won't be able to activate it. That's the risk of purchasing CDMA phones online.

    I got the phone from e-bay and I tried to activate it in my name on the virgin mobile web site. I found out the phone is still activated in the previous owners name and phone number. I cannot do anything without the v-key from this person. I called customer service and they cannot do anything for me without that v-key. I was told the phone is pretty much useless to me. Did I just waste money on this phone? Is there anything I can do?
