Don't pay any attention to what the phone says. Plug it in and let it charge overnight. After that, don't charge it again until it dies, then charge it overnight again, that should recalibrate the battery. If that does not work, you might just have to buy a new battery for it, but if you do that, make sure to charge it for eight hours before using it. It would be a good idea to see if Audiovox makes an extended life battery for your phone, it would cost a little more, but they can last up to four times longer than the OEM, and are usually better quality.

Hey guys, I think I have either a CDM8910 or 8920 and unfortunately whenever I try to charge it, it says after a few minutes that it charged up to full power. However, if I try to use it, it really only has charged up to one bar. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? I tried to take the battery pack out for a few seconds and put it back in, turned off the phone, and charged it. It seemed like it was working as it said "Charging" the whole night. But then this morning I tried to use it and it still only has one bar! Any help would be appreciated.
