    Sorry for not getting back sooner, I was out of the country. The phone has not been doing this from the beginning. I will try my local provider with the issue but may take you up on the Samsung number. Thanks a lot for you help.

    Any more ideas are greatly appreciated.

    How long have you had the phone? Has it been doing this since you bought it? I would either try and get a new one or it may need to be reflashed.

    Wouldn't be a bad idea to call Samsung. 888-987-4357

    Hi ... I have a Samsung A840. it seems that when I install a new contact it some how links itself to an existing contact. Once this link is established any change made to one contact is duplicated in the other.

    Any ideas?
