Navigate to the security tab in Settings & Tools. The older LG UI always had a Master Reset, but I am not sure if the 9800 with Verizon's new UI still has it. If it does, that is where it will be located.

Okay I figured that I could do that, I was just wondering if there was a master reset, kind of like you can with the PDA phones.

Just go into each spot, most spots will have an "Erase all" button.

I have a VX9800 and have had it for about 4 months. It is a cool phone but time for something new so I am going to throw it up on EBAY.

Before I do that though I want to make sure all my personal stuff is off of it.

What is the best way to reset it to factory?

Thanks for your help everyone....I just discovered these forums and they look really cool.
