With LG's, it usually means that you're in your service area. (And blinks red when it's low on battery, you have a message, or don't have service) go through your display menu and look for the "Status Light" option.

My wife's phone has a blinking green LED on top by the antenna. She's had the phone for over three years and this has never happened before. I have looked in the manual and the LED is not mentioned. I have also googled it and was unable to find anything out. It is with Verizon service. What does this blinking LED indicate?
