Their phones are really sturdy too. I dropped my phone so many times, once the battery fell apart, and I put it back together and it still worked. It's like a rock.

I got my a900 Saturday Feb. 10, 2007 (almost 2 weeks ago) and this way of adding words to T9 doesn't work. I'm interested in adding words to T9 also.
It seems that my old Sanyo 2300 is better than my new Samsung a900 in a few ways, like more logical menu layout, etc.

Say I'm in T9 mode. I try to type my girlfriends name "Colleen." I get "Colledn." So I switch to "Alpha" back space to where it says "Colle" then I manually type in the rest to ***** "Colleen." Everytime I try to ***** it in T9 mode after that, it doesn't work. There is no prompt to "add to dictionary" or anything like that either. This really sucks.
You'll have to either purchase a new a900 and hope you get an a900m or flash your existing a900 with the a900m firmware.

I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I had a Nokia and when you tried to type a word that wasn't in the dictionary, it would ask you to type in the new word and you could save it in the dictionary so the next time you typed it, it would pop up. I have the Samsung a920, and it doesn't seem to have this feature. Is there some way to do this or "add" words to the dictionary?
