You can't flash a different firmware on L6
See if you have a V3 you have a firmware version R374 and on your V551 you have a R472 and on your L6 you have R3511 they are not interchangeable

i know, thats what i am saying. i want the software thats on my v551 and my razr v3 that has skins, where my L6 does NOT have it. i want the other software

I don't think that the L6 have SKINS see your manual

alright, just got my SLVR L6 today and so far I like it for the most part. one question though, is there a software upgrade so the font isnt so cheesy looking?

Also, I have a V551 and the RAZR, both have the font/menu setup and options I am used to/prefer. what I mean is that under settings - personalize there is no 'skins' option like there is on my other 2 phones. is there any possible way to update or install different drivers or software?

another thing, when I view the phonebook, there isnt a picture block by the names in my phonebook like there is on my other two phones. I'm not sure if this can be changed or if it goes along with the software package


the font looks like the older cheaper model phones motorola had out about a year and a half ago. so is there any way to change this stuff, or am I just going to have to deal with it?
