I am looking to conduct a study which records which ringtone a consumer is using on their phone.

    The criteria:
    1) The survey is to be done online.

    2) It needs to allow for those who have no recording applications (microphones etc).

    3) It needs to allow for technophobes or those who don't have a clue how to go into their phone and find out which ringtone they are using.

Is there any other method of finding this information? A text message or java application that digs for it? A way of calling them and recording what the ring is?

No cost restrictions in place - this could have some serious investment behind it.

Creative ideas welcome. And if someone comes up with a great solution, I'll send them $50 as thanks.

    Cheers
