My friend gave me his old T-Mobile phone, it's a Samsung t609, flip phone, camera....real nice. Anyway, he told me that since I want a prepaid phone, all I had to do was just go buy the cheapest prepaid type phone from t-mobile, activate it, and slip the sim card in the older Samsung phone.

im wondering if this is possible before i go buy a cell phone.

    thanks!!
