    Hi!

I'm currently trying to work through Bell customer service reps to resolve this issue-- hoping someone can fast track me through the hoops :-)

    I recently received a 778-987-xxxx telephone number.

Vancouver Telus and Rogers cell phone users have no problem calling me as a local call.

However when Bell mobility customers call from a Vancouver bell mobility number-- they are told long distance charges will apply!

I looked at the Canadian Numbering Administration authority website-- and it confirms that 778-987 is a Vancouver number.

Now to convince Bell of this. Anyone know the right place for me to call to avoid suggestions like 'get a new number. talk to rogers. It's not us"
    :-)

From (replace the 'dot' with a '.' to get to the website, sorry that I had to do that)
www dot cnac dot ca/data/ac778.htm CO Code Status

NPA CO Code (NXX) OCN Company Status Rate Centre Remarks
    778 987 8821 Rogers AT&T Wireless In Service Vancouver n/a

    Thanks!
