Hi, i have been trying for about 2 months now to get my phone connected to my pc... i have probably tried around 15 ties to get this to work. no sucess.

i have ran the MPT driver installer a few times and also know my phone is connected via usb as windows xp recognized it (but of course said the driver could not be found) but you know what i mean, it said "found new hardware"

BUT! i think i found the problem. when i go to install the modem manually, under communication ports it says Other Device or COM1 PORT. But it doesnt say Motorola USB Port. How can i get that on the list? i tried using the add button, but it only allows me to install the driver to the COM1 Port.
