thx John; been there, done that; no insurance - what I need is someone to get me the SW load they use when they manufacture the phone - I have a USB cable; just need their SW & instructions

bring it to your service provider. They'll probably tell you that you need a new one.

    Insurance on it?

I recently got my new Synch wet; managed to dry it out completely; it tries to boot up @ turn-on (get opening SGH-A707 screen and "loading bar"), but it never fully completes; just recycles. If I press the * & # keys during this process; screen goes red & outer screen has box with "download" in it - as if to say it's looking for download of flash software to bring it back to life. I've tried calling Samsung service in TX, but they won't accept any phones that have gotten wet. I'm pretty sure it would be fully operational if I could just figure out how to get the SW reloaded. Can anyone here help me??
