I have a used 6700 Verizon. I have followed the instructions on how to turn on the WiFi but it won't connect. The phone is not activated with Verizon. I just want tot use it as a PDA for nowand surf the net on the WiFi. It see's my router and identifies it (belkin54g) shows it as available, I enter the password, and after a minute it gives up and quits. Does it have to have the cell phone part active?
