Please note that only micro sd cards with a capacity not exceeding 2 gb will work in the Blast.

This is pretty painless to do and you can make your own tones from your own mp3's. Get a 1gig card or some micro card. get the usb sd card reader that will read sd, mini sd, and micro sd all in one. best buy has'em.

put your card in there and create a folder on the card called ringtones. use windows explorer.

I make my ringtones with audacity, free wave manipulation software. i import an mp3, cut it down to the part i want and export the clip to a new mp3. To export mp3's from audacity, you will need the .dll to do this. you get the correct .dll and put it in the correct folder and you will be able to export created mp3's. google it and read the audacity page, it will tell you how.

take your exported .mp3 and put it into the ringtone folder on your card using windows explorer. take your card and put it in your phone. menu, fun and apps, files, memory card, ringtones, select options, set as, ringtone.

    done.

its free, you dont have to pay 2 bucks for a ringtone and you can take the clips of songs you want instead of what some dummy thinks you want and charging you for it.

now how do you hack the phone to change your messaging tone to your own.
    Great post. REP given.
