I'm a serious tech nerd on a budget... to me the most important feature is the most overlooked: Free 3rd Party Software. What intermediate cost cell phones have the most 3rd party free software available? I'm looking to spend $100 max when I reup my contract. Right now I've got Verizon (but I'm flexible), and I've just noticed that the Palm Centro has a ton of software for it because of the history of the palm community. The windows Mobile SMT5800 is interesting too. Is this the way to go... or do you have another idea?
