An executive from Nokia said recently that the company are planning to jump into the wireless modem business. Their first product should be ready by early 2009. Nokia plans on pulling it's experience and expertise from the cell phone business to bring these modems to the market. Their first product will be a wireless modem that is HSPA compatible, and most likely sold through wireless network operators. There is still no mention of pricing or an exact release date.
