I would like to recommend you Gretel GT6000 because it comes with 6000mah battery, quick charger, 13MP+2MP Dual rear camera, Android 7.0, 4G network, 5.5 Inch SHARP Display, and 2GB RAM.

They are not more rugged than most phones. and you swim with your phone lol anyway you can still swim with ip67 unless you plan on going diving, the phone will be fine.

I want there to be a nuclear war, and the only things still in one piece are roaches, twinkies, and my phone. strength is all i need, i dont care about eye candy or superfluous features like camera... textings is fine.

    any phone like that?
Your logic does not make any sense. Your phone, no matter how tough it is, still need a carrier for it to work. In a nuclear war, your phone will not work since there won't be any carrier to provide service for you. Besides, if everyone's dead, who are you going to call?

All that aside, the Sonimm XP3 is the one you need. It will cost you around $400 but you will get a toughest phone ever. You can use it as a hammer or defend yourself with it by throwing it against your opponent's head. It's also water proof, dust proof, fire proof and most important of all --> IDIOT PROOF!

I know of people who have gotten their Nokias wet but still worked fine after drying them. The key is to dry them completely before turning them back on.
