It looks like that the iPhone is probably one of the most popular and used phones out there today with reports of 17 million iPhones already been sold.

According to a report from AdMob Mobile Metrics, the iPhone now accounts for 50 percent of mobile Web traffic from smartphones in the U.S. In August 2008, the iPhone made up only 10 percent of mobile Web traffic from smartphones which in turn, Blackberry’s share has gone from 32 percent down to 21 percent and with Palm decreasing from19 percent to 7 percent withing the last six months. Android is the only other smartphone that has showed gains in web usage from 3 percent to 5 percent.
