The screen went white on my son's Samsung sgh-a737 phone. The AT&T store salesperson said the "water damage indicator" showed it was water damaged. The indicator is a small rectangle just above the battery, under the battery cover. Salesperson said it should be white, and when it turns red, it indicates water damage (it's pinkish on my son's phone). I'm skeptical only because I never heard of this indicator and can't find it in any documentation. Is this legit? Any ideas on fixes for the white screen? Thx!
