You wouldn't be able to do this easily. First, you don't have a pin. Second, BBM won't run on the phone.

I was reading through Sprint's plan options and one of them includes unlimited data including web, email, BIS, texts, etc etc.

Can you only access the Blackberry network (say, for BBM with a coworker) if you own a Blackberry branded phone? If I purchased the new HTC Hero, can I BBM anyone?

Sorry if this is an insane question, I'm not familiar with how these networks interact with each other.
