You have to go to control pannel in Windows. Bluetooth logo, the make sure that your bluetooth is on. Including on in your cell phone. For the dell you can turn bluetooth on and off through your bios, I think you press f12 when restarting.

Hallo! I am a total newbie to Bluetooth. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 using Dell Wireless 355 Module with Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Technology. I have installed the Bluetooth drivers fromthe motherboard CD and I want to set up a Bluetooth connection between the laptop and my Samsung D780 Mobile Phone.

How do I go about setting up this connection? Also, after I have the connection how do I use it to e.g. copy files between the 2 devices and have my laptop access the internet via the phone?

Any assistance will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
