    Although no name has been given to Gigabyte's first Android smartphone, Gigabyte has a phone that will run on Google's open source OS in which it will be part of the GSmart series. The GSmart handset will run Android 1.6 and have a trackball that measures at 103 x 54 x 13.4mm.

    Some of the features and specs include:

    * GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity
    * 2.8 QVGA touchscreen display
    * Trackball
    * G-sensor (accelerometer)
    * Wi-Fi
    * GPS
    * Bluetooth 2.0
    * 3.5 mm audio jack
    * 2MP autofocus camera
    * Qualcomm ESM7225 528 MHz CPU
    * 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM
    * MicroSD card support

    Russia will be the first to see the Gigabyte GSmart Android phone in February at the price of 9,000 RUB ($300 or €212).
