I bought a 2.5-3.5mm adapter so i could listen to my phone speaker on my headphones that I use in my PC. It worked ok.

After removing the adapter, and trying to use the phone with no headphones at all, I can no longer hear anything from the phone (no ring out, person answering my call, voicemail playback - nothing!) My phone does ring, and when I turn the phone off/on, I hear the chimes.

Did this adapter screw up my phone? And if so, is there a fix for it? I've turned the phone off and on, as well as pulled the battery and put it back in. The phone is fully charged. Thanks fora any advice.

I have a Samsung Messager R450, which I got from cricket.
