The backup-to-micro SD feature works very well. A multicard reader/writer plugged into the USB port of my PC makes it much more effective, however, for editing photos shot with the phone's camera, transferring photos back and forth and using it for the wallpapers and animated screensavers I make with my graphics programs. Helpful hint: Open the "my pictures" folder before saving them. It's much easier than dragging and dropping afterwards.

Question #1: No, you can not make your own custom mp3 files as a ringtone on the X-tc.

Question #2: You can not store contacts on the Micro SD card

Question #3: The X-tc is not considered a 3G phone

Question #4: You can use any type of head phones with a 2.5 mm connector

Question #5: The storage on the Micro SD card is up to 8G

Question #6: You can not connect the X-tc to your computer and use the bitpim hook up

Question #7: The USB port is for charging the phone

I have some questions about the Kyocera X-tc

Question 1: Can I make my own mp3 files as ringtones? Basically can I make my own custom ringtones or will Virgin screw me over again?

Question 2: Can I store my contacts on the microSD card?

Question 3: Is this phone a 3G phone?

Question 4: What type of head phones can I use with it?

Question 5: What is the limit of microSD card I can use? 2 GB?

Question 6: Can I connect this phone to my computer and use the bitpim hook up?

Question 7: Is the USB port for charging or is it for computer connectivity? I guess this one goes with Question 6?
