I have an LG Pop (GD510) and it stores 500 messages. Now I can see in my memory that there is alot more space, but the phone only allocates 500 slots for messages. The rest of the space is used up on silly things like, 1000 contacts (I have 58, so yeah, the allowance is a little too big)

I get throgh about 500 messages in a week and its annoying because I have to keep some of these texts for months at a time.

Is there any way to increase the size of the space it allocates for my SMSs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It can be a simple way to change it that I am not award of, or a Hack or anything, im not bothered. I just need it done.
