Japan’s KDDI has announced a new handset called the Toshiba Regza IS04 and comes as a 12MP Android phone as well as being waterproof.

Features of the Toshiba Regza IS04 include: a 4 inch FWVGA (854x 480) display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.1. It looks as if the Regza IS04 will exclusive to Japan and should be released in January 2011.

This is not the only handset being launched by Japan's KDDI. The Sharp IS05 and the Pantech Sirius IS06 will also be launched by the carrier and both will have Android 2.2 Froyo and should be launched sometime in December of this year.
