Halloween weekend, everyone was having a good time... costumes were anything BUT scary.. you know that goes. Anyway, I was liquidly encouraged and was approached by a guy who said he needed $20 for a cab and asked if I would buy his phone. So I did.

The next day I woke up and realized it was the Droid X. Yeah, I know.. So I called Verizon that Monday (told them the story) and asked if it had been reported. They said no and that I could come in and activate it.

Well, the more I thought about it, it seemed kinda shaddy. I went through the phone to see if I could call the guy back and ask him about it.. but apparently it was restored to its default settings because there were no pictures, no contacts, no texts, e-mails, no call history, nothing.. it was blank.

So I've still been on the fence. Anyway, my main question is.. if I activate this phone (that is, if it still has yet to be reported) and the "rightful owner" reports it.. lets say, 3 days or 2 weeks or whenever after I have already activated it.. what happens then?!

    Thanks and Gig 'Em
