Hi. What do you mean "dead phone"? Can you turn it on or to connect to computer? If no, I think you should search special services and try to repair this phone. Also check these professional data recovery services https://www.pandorarecovery.com/blog...very-services/ they also can help.

First advice would be stop using your device as soon as you miss any data from your device.
You won't be automatically get your data back unless you have a backup with you. If there is no backup then you might have to rely on third party applications like - iPhone and Android Data Recovery offered by FonePaw.

Is the phone still powering up? If yes then try using some kind of cable that came with your phone, connect it to your phone and hopefully from there you can recover whatever data you want..

Urshie, if the data isn't on your SD card and the phone won't boot, I am afraid that the data is most likely lost. It sucks but I have had it happen to me. The default setting on most phones is to save the photos to the phone memory, you have to manually change it to save to the SD card.

To the others, if the phone is bootable you can try using a data cable or taking it into your carrier's corporate store to have them do a data transfer. They might charge you a fee though.
