This is a general fact-finding question for accurate information and not specific to any type of phone. I am writing a how-to and I want to make sure that I am correct on this point.

Are there any phones left on the market or using current networks that DON'T allow the user to text-message to e-mail addresses?

All the phones I know about allow the user to text to e-mail even if they don't have a data plan.

I'm thinking the likely possibilities are low-cost carriers or old phones that still work on current networks but that I don't know about.

    Thanks!
