    Cable J
    Hi,

Please excuse my intrusion but I am a little lost. I’ve travelled in North Africa with my $80, three-year old Nokia. Everywhere I went the local SIM card worked well. I also lugged a laptop and a camera. How do you suggest I roll all three, and a GPS, into one?

There are phones which will do it, almost. The latest Nokia comes with a good keyboard too. However, none can connect to the Internet via a cable, all are WiFi enabled only. None has a cable socket.

I have not found a tiny router which would allow the cell phone to connect to a wired Internet outlet. Some countries have cybercafés but only a few of those are wireless.

Just arrived to Australia, do not have a SIM card yet

I’d be grateful for any suggestion.

    Thank you

    TJ
