So, I jumped. TXTM8 3G is enough better--2.0MP camera with video, MP3 player and removable storage on a micro SD--to be worth the upgrade. And I find that the SSL certificate is no longer a problem. But I find the Polaris web browser will not properly log into our Outlook Web App.

This is a question for early-adopters.

I have been using a MSGM8 for a while now, and find it does most of what I need. But I discovered I couldn't access my work webmail--ultimately discovering the problem to be that it doesn't have GoDaddy in its database of SSL certificate authorities. Support was basically unhelpful, while the very nice manager at a corporate store basically said you generally can't get e-mail sites like that without a smartphone. Reading my mail would be nice, but not really worth the double additional cost of a smartphone and Cricket's higher charge for service, so I left it at that.

Then I saw the kind of similar Kyocera Loft at Virgin Mobile. Since they will let you send it back within 30 days if it doesn't work out, and they have a $25.00/month plan that includes unlimited text and web, it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, Sprint's network doesn't seem as good here (maybe 10 miles from Sprint HQ) as Cricket's--and I don't have coverage in a lot of my office. Add to that a couple of other Cricket amenities lacking and it is either going back or get passed on to someone else. But though the default web browser on the Loft still won't do my webmail, it also has Opera Mini, and that will.

Now, Cricket has introduced the TXTM8 3G, very similar to the MSGM8 but with a few enhancements, one billed as "real web browsing". Wondering if anyone on the forum had picked one up, and if they can access https://godaddy.com?
