Get Samsung Android phone Infuse 4G play all MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, VOB, M2TS videos

When it comes to smartphones, how big is too big?
Samsung obviously isn’t preoccupied with that question, as evidenced by its latest Android device release, the Infuse 4G.
As soon as you pop the phone out of the box, the first thing you notice is its size. The thing is massive. It needs to be, though, in order to support its 4.5-inch super AMOLED display. Save for the first Dell Streak smartphone-cum-tablet hybrid — whose screen is a whopping 5-inches — the Infuse is packing one of the largest screens we’ve seen on a smartphone.

This is a good thing. I watched the HD trailer for Cowboys and Aliens on the little silver screen and could practically feel the trail dust on my face. The picture quality was excellent, and as bright as can be. After seeing how well the screen handled the trailer,I put my favorite mkv, MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, VOB, M2TS file format videos into Infuse 4G.Unfortunately,sometimes I failed to play MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4 videos. I examined the Samsung Infuse 4G supported file types, and list this Android Phone Infuse 4G various video and audio formats as follows:

Samsung Infuse 4G supported file types
    Infuse 4G Supported Audio formats
MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, FLAC, WMA, WAV, AMR, OGG, MIDI

    Infuse 4G Supported Video formats
MPEG4, H.263, H.264, DivX, XviD, WMV, AVI, 3GP, Flash Video

After Searched in google ,I found some reasons for Infuse 4G can’t play MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4 videos…Just Quote:
When Samsung Infuse 4G refuse to play a video, it could be due to one or more of the following reasons ( you may try transcode the videos to Samsung Infuse 4G supported formats/codecs.)

    - Unsupported video format (e.g. *.vob format)
    - Unsupported codec (e.g. AC3)
    - Huge file size (e.g. H.264 MP4 video of 10GB+)
    - High resolution (e.g. 1080p video and above)
    - Protections (e.g. iTunes videos)

In order to play all MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, VOB, M2TS videos on Samsung Infuse 4G properly,I convert videos for Android Infuse 4G with this Samsung Infuse 4G video converter ( a free trial) before transferring videos to Samsung Infuse 4G Android phone. The file format I use is MPEG-4.( I downscale the HD videos to 450×800).After doing the conversion,I put the converted videos and play onto Samsung Infuse 4Gfor entertainment. Yeah,Perfet!

Share the following guide to convert my favorite mkv,avi,mp4 videos to Samsung Infuse 4G supported formats.

Hope this guide also give you a hand !

Overall, Samsung has created a media hub, as much as a smartphone, in the Infuse 4G. All of the included attachments practically beg for you to use it as such, and from my initial tests, it delivers.
As for the phone’s performance on AT&T’s network, that’s something to be saved for a longer review.
Beginning May 15, the phone will be available on AT&T’s HSPA+ 4G network for $200 with a two-year contract.
