    Apple is planning on hosting and event on September 7, according to Kodawarisan, a Japanese website and according to someone "in the know". This is the event where everyone is waiting to see if the next generation smartphone, possibly the iPhone 5, will be introduced and announced.

    Apple has a reputation of announcing iPods in the month of September, and since the next generation iPhone is expected to be unveiled, this would be the perfect time to do it...at a popular event.

    If or when unveiled, the Apple iPhone 5 is said to have an 8MP rear camera, dual core processor, iOS5 and a larger display screen.
