The Samsung Galaxy Gio, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, will soon make its way to SaskTel in Canada. Although we do not have an exact launch date, Sasktel has the Galaxy Gio as coming soon.

Price of the Samsung Gio for Sasktel will be $29.99 on a new three year contract agreement, in which a data plan will be required. If you do not want to be committed, you can purchase the handset outright for a price of $99.99.

For those who want a shorter term contract, a two-year contract will put the Galaxy Gio at $149.99 with a data plan and $199.99 without. A one year contract will be priced at $199.99 with data and voice and $229.99 with just voice. For just a monthly plan, you will pay $249.99.

Features of the Samsung Galaxy Gio will include: an 800 MHz processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 3 MP camera, Wi-Fi, ’4G’, GPS, Bluetooth, 158 MB of internal storage space, microSD card support, and a 1350 mAh battery.
