The world's first 3D smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D, has just been announced for India. If your not familiar with the capabilities of the 3D handset, it has a 3D touchscreen that does not require you to have to wear 3D glasses. It also comes equipped with 3D Guide, YouTube 3D, games, 3D apps and dual cameras in the rear to give you that 3D photo capture and video recording.

Other features include: a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz dual-core TI processor, dual 5 MP cameras with 3D capture and video recording, as well as 2D 720p HD video recording, 8 GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, DLNA, HDMI out, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The LG Optimus 3D runs Android 2.2 Froyo.

Price of the LG Optimus 3D for India will be around Rs. 37,000 ($806) and will launch sometime in September.
