Sony Ericsson has just announced a new handset, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, which is a version of the Xperia Neo Android smartphone, and looks just like the Xperia Neo with the exception of the phone color.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and comes equipped with a 5MP camera, unlike the Xperia Neo that has the 8MP camera. Features that will be included on the Xperia Neo V will be: Facebook integrated inside the Xperia, Google Talk with Video Chat and 3D sweep panorama technology that will allow you to connect the handset up to a 3D TV by using the HDMI output.

Nokia said that they plan on upgrading all the Xperia smartphones to Android 2.3.4 in October and include some of the features that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V will come with.

Color options for the Xperia Neo V will be, Blue gradient, Silver and White and should launch sometime in the fourth quarter. Price of the Xperia Neo V has not been mentioned.
