If you can access your email on your cell phone then you can send and receive faxes from them with an internet fax service. You can download a free app for smart phone such as iPhone, Blackberry or Android. I was searching for a cell phone fax solution as well and found this article to be very helpful in my case: fax from cell phone - The best part is that you can try this out for free so there is no risk, if it's not what you are looking for just be sure to cancel before your trial is up, which is usually 30 days

Not sure on Razr-v3 but on my Android phone, I use a Droid PDF viewer to open my Onesuite fax. I pay only $1 for unlimited incoming fax on Onesuite.

I know there are services that provide fax numbers that will send the fax to an email address...and the phone is capable of recieving email...but i'm not sure if i can view the attachment(the fax) on the phone or not. I don't need to ever print the faxes, I just need to view them. so is it possible? if not, is there a phone out there that can do it? Thanks in advance.
If you are subscribed to an internet fax service a provider usually have online GUI where it can be accessed on any internet-enabled devices.

I don't think so because the phone screen is too small to view a fax page. You will be doing lots of squinting if it can be done.

You only have two solutions. Both solutions require you to be able to get a fax though your e-mail. You may want to check out eFax - Email Fax Services . There might be others out there too. You also need to sign up data / Internet plan which is not cheap. I think it's going for around $75. It might be more or less.

1 - Get a cell phone that is capable of using it as a modem for your computer. If you don't have a laptop, than you have to get a laptop. You hook up your cell phone to your laptop and new you can view your faxes.

2 - Get another cell phone that have MS Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC (I believe that's the latest version. Correct me if I am wrong.) like the Cingular 8125 Pocket PC. Now you can access your e-mail and view it on the screen. I believe that screen is quite big for a cell phone so you should be able to view it.

I am not sure if you can view them on your phone..
But, check out motorola power tools, or phone tools it might have been called. There used to be an option or plugin to view faxes on a laptop tethered to your phone.
Not sure if it helps, but you can give it a try if you have a laptop available.
