How-To: Turn On the Mobile Hotspot Feature.

1. From the Home screen tap the "Menu" sensitive button on your Samsung Illusion.
2. Tap "Settings".
3. Select the "Wireless & networks" option.
4. Press the "Mobile Hotspot" feature.
5. Tap "Mobile Hotspot".
6. Press the "Continue" button on the notification window.
7. Tap the "Turn on Mobile Hotspot" button.
8. Choose from either "Automatic" or "Manual" configuration.

How-To: Manually Set Up the Mobile Hotspot Security Settings on Your Samsung Illusion.

Follow the steps 1 through 4 mentioned above then continue as follows:

1. Tap the "Network Settings" option.
2. Press the "Configure" button.
3. If the Mobile Hotspot was previously set to "Automatic" then tap the "Switch to manual configuration".
4. If needed, tap the "Back" sensitive button on your device in order to minimize the on-screen keyboard.
5. Tap the "Security" dropdown menu and select the desired security type.
6. Tap the "Password" field ant type in a password.
7. Press "Done".

How-To: Manage Mobile Hotspot Users on Your Samsung Illusion.

1. Access the "Network Settings" as described above.
2. Tap the "Manage Devices" button.
3. Press the "Manage Allowed Devices" button.
4. Tap "Add device".
5. Enter the MAC address of the device you wish to allow to connect then press the "Done" button.
