    To Take a Photo

    1. To open the Camera app, tap Camera on the home screen.
    2. Hold the phone horizontally and point the lens towards the subject you want to photograph.
    3. You will see a focus box in the center of the viewfinder. Tap anywhere on the screen to focus on that spot.
    4. The focus box will turn green when the camera is focused on the subject.
    5. Now tap the Camera icon lightly to take the picture.

You can select Share to share the picture via Bluetooth, Email, Google+, Facebook, Gmail, Picassa, Social+ or any other application that is supported.
You can also set your picture as Home screen wallpaper, Lock screen wallpaper or Contact photo by tapping Set as.

    To Use Advanced Settings

While in the viewfinder, tap the Settings icon located at the bottom left-hand side of the screen to view the advanced settings.
You may change the camera settings by scrolling the list and selecting the desired option. After you selected the option that you want to use, tap the Back Key.

The options available in Advanced Settings as well as a brief description:

Brightness – This feature controls the amount of sunlight that enters the lens of the camera. Slide the brightness indicator towards “-“ sign for lower brightness, or the “+” for higher brightness to your image.

Focus – You have two options here. You can choose Auto – which will allow the camera to focus automatically and continuously on the objects on the photo, or Face tracking – which enables your camera to detect and focus on human faces automatically.

Scene Mode – This setting allows you to choose the color and light settings appropriate for certain types of environment. You have choices such as:
    1. Normal – this will enable your camera to automatically adjust its settings according to the environment.
    2. Portrait – this mode is great when you want to photograph people. If you photograph a single person, it’s best to hold your phone vertically.
    3. Landscape – this mode is very useful when you want to photograph landscapes, natural scenery like trees, mountains or sky.
    4. Sports – this mode will increase the shutter speed of the camera, thus is useful when you want to picture sports or animals and kids that move rather fast.
    5. Sunset – use this mode to capture the sunset scenery.
    6. Night – this mode is useful for night scenery, so it uses a slow shutter speed. If you want your picture to look sharp, hold the phone very still or consider using a tripod.
    7. Smart shutter – this mode will enable you to capture fast-moving images indoor.

ISO – This setting controls the camera sensitivity to light. You can choose from Auto, 100, 200 or 400.

White balance – the white balance ensures the white areas in your photo remain realistic. You can choose from Auto, Cloudy, Incandescent, Sunny and Fluorescent.

Color effect – you can apply artistic effects to your pictures – such as None, Mono, Sepia and Negative.

You will also be able to set your Timer to Off, 3 seconds, 5 seconds or 10 seconds.

Another great feature is Geotagging – this will use your phone’s GPS services to tag the pictures with the location you’re at. In addition, if you upload tagged pictures to a website that supports geotagging, you’ll see them displayed on a map.

Auto Review – this will automatically display the picture that you just took.

Storage – this allows you to choose where you want your photos to be stored, either on your phone or on the microSD card.

Reset – this will reset all the settings to default.

    Note:
Some settings will automatically be reset once you exit the camera app. You should check the camera settings before you take a new photo.
