    Yeah that's completely possible. Not only is it possible, it's fairly common, especially if the person you're sending the text to has a prepaid phone that's run out of air time. However, even contract carriers have network issues from time to time that can cause text messages to vanish into "la-la land".

    I recently sent a text to someone and on my droid it said it was sent. She said she never received it....is this possible?
