    Setting up Air View

Using Air View, you can interact with your new Samsung Galaxy S4 without touching its screen. Use this option to preview your calendar entries, email messages, view large image thumbnails or zoom into a certain part of the web page by simply hovering your finger above the screen!

    1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
    2. Then tap Settings -> go to My device tab -> scroll down and turn the Air View switch to ON -> tap Air view -> then turn the switch for the Air view features to On or Off, as desired.
    3. Air view will then be enabled.
    4. Press the Home key if you want to return back to the Home screen.
    5. To try out Air view, open the default email client and hover over an email message to view its preview.
    6. Use Air view to zoom specific areas of the screen when browsing web pages.

    Setting up Air Gesture

Air gesture is similar to Air view. Using Air gesture you can interact with your Samsung Galaxy S4 without touching its screen – you can answer phone calls, scroll through images, change music or navigate the web pages with simple, quick gestures.

    1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
    2. Then tap Settings -> go to My device tab -> touch Motions and gestures -> turn the Air gesture feature switch to On.
    3. Tap Air gesture -> you’ll then see several air gesture options -> tap the switch to enable the ones that you’d like to use. For the purpose of this tutorial we’ll go with Quick glance.
Tip: by enabling Quick Glance, when the screen is off, reach towards your device to see important information at a glance.
    4. Select Quick glance -> then tap to check or uncheck the desired notification settings.
    5. When ready, press the Back key to configure other Air gestures.
    6. Or, to use the Quick glance air gesture, turn off the screen of your Samsung Galaxy S4 by pressing the Power key -> then move your hand above the sensor located next to the earpiece.
    7. Your selected Quick glance notifications will then be displayed.

    Using Multi Window

With Multi Window you can use two applications at the same time.

    1. If you’d like to use the Multi Window feature, from the Home screen, press and hold the Back key. The Multi Window menu will show up.
    2. To reposition the new menu, tap and drag it to a new location.
    3. Then from the menu, tap the app that you’d like to open.
    4. To open a second app, tap and drag the desired app to the screen and then release your finger.
    5. You can also resize the two windows by tapping and dragging the resize bar to the desired location.
    6. If you’d like to swap the window positions, tap the Swap icon.
    7. To view a certain window in full screen, tap the Window icon.
    8. And to close the window, simply tap the X icon.
    9. You can also customize the Multi Window menu.To do so, close the second app and tap then tap Edit ,located at the bottom of the menu.
    10. If you want to remove an app from the menu, just tap and drag it from the tray.
    11. To add a new app to the menu, tap and drag the desired app.
    12. When finished, tap Done.
    13. To exit the Multi Window tab, press and hold the Back key.

Note: Not all apps support the Multi Window feature.
Note II: You can reposition the apps within the menu while on the editing screen.
