    So your iphone is being displayed on your tv, right? HDMI does not handle remote control. You would need a separate interface for the iphone to be remote controlled, which seems a bit convoluted.

    I have the newer 50"KDLR550 TV, I purchased a HDMI adapther to Iphone. I can view & play my iphone things on my tv screen, but can only navigate them from the Iphone. According to the TV instructions, I should be able to control ALL with TV remote, which I cannot.. ANY SONY TV/Iphone users doing this or can help???
