Bookmarking a web page

For a quicker access to your favorite web pages, bookmark them!

1. From the desired web page, press the Menu key -> then tap the Start icon.
2. Then, from the Add Bookmark screen, edit the name of the bookmark and save it in a new category folder -> then tap Save.
3. When you want to view your bookmarks, press the Menu key -> tap Bookmarks -> go to the bookmark you’d like to open and then just tap it.

Clearing the Browser History

1. Open any web page -> then press the Menu key -> tap Settings -> tap Privacy -> tap Clear browsing data.
2. Select the type of data that you’d like to delete and tap Clear.

Create a Music Playlist

1. Open the Music app.
2. Then swipe right until you get to the Playlists tab.
3. Press the Menu key -> tap New playlist and enter a name for the playlist.
4. To add a new song to your recently created playlist, play the desired son and tap More -> select Add to playlist.
5. To add more songs, repeat the same process.

Deleting Music Playlists

1. Open the Play Music app.
2. Then swipe right until you get to the Playlist tab.
3. Now press and hold the playlists that you’d like to delete -> tap Delete.

Add a Song to the Queue

With your HTC First, while a playlist is playing you can browse other tracks stored on your device. If you find one that you’d like to listen to next, you can easily add a song or even an entire album to the queue. The song/album will be played when the current playlist has finished playing.

1. While listening to a song, browse for other tracks you’d like to listen.
2. After you located the song/album you’d like to listen, press and hold it -> then select Add to queue.
3. You can also browse for an artist or playlist -> tap the More icon and select Add to queue

Editing your Photos

The Gallery of the HTC First has a pretty wide array of editing tools that you can use if you want to crop, rotate and apply certain effects to your pictures.

Cropping a photo

1. Locate the photo that you’d like to edit.
2. Open the photo in full screen -> then press the Menu icon -> select Crop.
3. A crop box will appear around the photo.
4. Now you can drag the crop box over the part of the picture you wish to crop or drag the markers of the crop box to resize it.
5. When done, tap OK.
6. Your cropped picture is saved as a copy, while the original picture stays unedited.

Rotating a Picture

1. Locate the picture you’d like to edit.
2. Open that photo in full screen and press the Menu key -> then tap Rotate Left/Rotate Right, as desired.

Adding Photo Effects

1. Locate the picture you’d like to edit.
2. Open that photo in full screen and press the Menu key -> then tap Edit.
3. Select the effect that you want to apply to the photo and tap Save.
4. Your enhanced picture is saved as a copy, while the original picture remains unedited.
