    What provider do you have?

There are a lot of providers in the United States that say they can't block numbers. I'm not sure why they can't.

For smartphones, there are applications that can block them, which can be helpful.

Welcome to CellPhoneForums.net! If you'd like, you can post an introduction here: New Member Introductions - Cell Phone Forums

For some reason some carriers don't have the ability to block numbers. You can add the number to your contacts, and turn the ringer off for that number so it doesn't vibrate or ring. You can also contact the police and report them. In addition to those options, you can change your number, or port your number to Google Voice which I believe allows you to block numbers.

I have an LG Banter Touch & I am trying to block an unwanted # from calling & harrassing me. I have already called US Cellular & they couldn't help me, is there ANY way to block this # from continuing to call?
